The first two stages of the project were delivered by another manufacturer. Due to the lack of service work provided, SEPS and Alter Energo agreed to replace the company for the last stage of the project. SERW convinced the companies to trust them as their new manufacturer by presenting them successful reference projects for ČEPS, the main Czech transmission system operator.
Project for Slovakian transmission system operator SEPS
Plzeň, Czech Republic, November 2018 – The Slovakian installation company Alter Energo assigned SERW with the delivery of multiple 420 kV disconnectors and earthing switches for the main transmission system operator in Slovakia SEPS. The project, located in Podunajské Biskupice, a borough of Bratislava, is very interesting from a view that the previous supplier of disconnectors and earthing switches was changed during the running project.
The project includes the delivery and service work of following equipment:
• 33 single-phase 420 kV pantograph disconnectors with motor drives
• 9 single-phase 420 kV vertical disconnectors with motor drives
• 9 single-phase 420 kV earthing switches with motor drives
• Project value about 430'000 Euro
Along with another running project in Slovakia in the region Spišská Nová Ves, SERW takes the chance and further penetrates the Slovakian market. "We would like to use the last two projects for SEPS (Spišská Nová Ves and Podunajské Biskupice) as a base to get back into the Slovakian market and to get a bigger market share in the nearest future.", Pavel Chaluš, sales director at SERW, stated.
