The 1000th power transformer

Łódź, Poland, October 2018 – In the Polish transformer factory in Łódź, the headquarters of ZREW, a transformer with the serial number 1000 was produced this month. It is the culmination of over 60 years of experience in the production, diagnostics and service of power transformers.

Transformer for the Valmadrera Cogeneration Plant

Subbiano Arezzo, Italy, October 2018 – Tesar will deliver a 16.000 kVA cast resin transformer to the waste-to-energy plant in Valmadrera, Italy in the first quarter of 2019. There, the transformer will transform the voltage level from the steam turbines, operating by waste incineration, to the needed voltage level for the electricity grid.

Conference about modern and advanced technologies in power transformers

Łódź, Poland, October 2018 – The 12th edition of the Science and Technology Conference for Power and Special Purpose Transformers took place from 3 to 5 October 2018 in the small and charming town Kazimierz Dolny in Poland. The main organizer, ZREW Transformatory, is proud to have set up the successful event full of interesting discussions and presentations.

New project for ČEPS

Plzeň, Czech Republic, October 2018 – A successful factory acceptance test made by the company ČEPS, a well-known transmission system operator in the Czech Republic, has lead to one of the biggest projects in the history of SERW with delivery and service work for a total of 464 products in the first stage.

New Antalya Light Rail Line

Subbiano Arezzo, Italy, October 2018 – To make sure the Antalya Education and Research Hospital is better connected and easier to access, a new light rail line in Antalya is in planning. Tesar will supply a total of 13 traction and 14 auxiliary transformers for this new and exciting project that will be realized by the MEP contractor Makyol.

Biggest electric vehicle in the world

Sissach, Switzerland, September 2018 – Back in 2016, eMining, a sub-company of the Swiss companies Lithium Storage GmbH and Kuhn AG, was asked to construct the biggest electric vehicle in the world. The so-called eDumper is now in operation and brings raw material from the stone quarry "La Tscharner" in Switzerland to a deeper located conveyor system. At the end of each day, the eDumper is plugged into a 600V/100KW connector from Rauscher & Stoecklin to recharge or to feed the grid with the generated energy.

Service around the clock

Sissach, Switzerland, September 2018 – On August 24 at 1 o’clock at night, two transformer stations in Switzerland were serviced by our highly experienced technicians. The customer, Baumeler Leitungsbau AG, a Swiss network construction company in the field of energy, telecom, transport and water, and the Federal Roads Office ASTRA have commissioned Rauscher & Stoecklin for this project. To satisfy our customer’s needs, we provide comprehensive support whenever and wherever you need us.

Modernization of the railway station Horní Cerekev

Plzeň, Czech Republic, September 2018 – SERW in cooperation with OHL ŽS, a Czech company specializing in implementing complex projects for various construction works, will deliver components for the modernization of the railway switching and supply station Horní Cerekev. The delivery, scheduled for October 2018, will contain various components for air-insulated switchgear.

Challenging project for Schleswig-Holstein Netz AG

Plzeň, Czech Republic, August 2018 – Schleswig-Holstein Netz AG, one of the biggest grid operators in Northern Germany, has chosen SERW as their partner for upgrading their distribution grid. A total of 35 horizontal disconnectors and 8 earthing switches will be delivered to the substation Handewitt/Flensburg end of this year. The large order will be delivered in just one shipment, bringing along some challenges for the project.
