Plzeň, Czech Republic, February 2019 – SERW has signed a frame contract for the delivery of 245 kV and 420 kV disconnectors, earthing switches and post insulators for the company ČEPS, the main transmission system operator in the Czech Republic. Whilst internationally, ČEPS forms an integral part of the European interconnected power system, domestically its activities have a huge impact on the everyday life of Czech people.

Subbiano Arezzo, Italy, January 2019 – In regards to the 40th anniversary of Tesar, the parish priests of Arezzo and Chiassa held a holy mass in the Tesar factory in Chiaveretto. Many important people from the region such as Antonio De Bari, the mayor of Subbiano, and Alberto Merelli, the assessor for Finances, Budget and Tributes of Arezzo, were present. The whole mass was a blessed and proud moment for all Tesar employees.
Plzeň, Czech Republic, January 2018 – The company SERW was awarded a new project for E.ON Distribuce, an important electrical distributor in the regions of South Bohemia and South Moravia in the Czech Republic. A shorter confirmed delivery time of only 2-3 months has helped SERW to gain an advantage on the competitors and as a result, lead the customer E.ON Distribuce to choose SERW as their supplier.
Łódź, Poland, January 2019 – ZREW Transformatory delivered its first power transformer outside the EU. The order was completed for Elektroprenos-Elektroprijenos BiH a.d. Banja Luka, a company with a monopoly for the transmission of electric power in Bosnia and Herzegovina. The company's main task is to transmit electric power, generated in power plants, to power distribution areas or large industrial consumers. For ZREW, it is another step in increasing the share in the export sales market.
Dubai, UAE, January 2019 – The Reem Mall, the biggest mall in the region of Abu Dhabi, will be opened to the public in 2020. The 1 billion Dollar project will include 260.000 sqm of retail space with 450 shops, almost 7.000 parking spots, the world’s largest indoor snow park with 10.000 sqm, as well as restaurants and other attractions. Tesar Gulf was selected to deliver 27 cast resin transformers due to the high efficiency, quality, and reliability demonstrated towards its customers since its first supply in 2014.
Sissach, Switzerland, December 2018 – R&S is looking back on a successful year filled with many challenges and opportunities. Our comprehensive group portfolio has been extended, for example with special cast resin transformers for railway applications and DC disconnectors. New geographical markets were explored, such as the Nordics and parts of Asia. Furthermore, our market position in some key domestic markets could be strengthened due to the award of a number of important projects, one of which being the supply of 54 power transformers to the largest Polish network operator Tauron Dystrybucja.
Sissach, Switzerland, December 2018 – The Turkish railway operator TCDD Taşımacılık together with Yapı Merkezi, a well-known Turkish constructor, commissioned Rauscher & Stoecklin to deliver 60 switching devices for the electrification of the over 200 km railway line between Konya and Karaman in Turkey. Thanks to the project, the travel time between Konya and Karaman has been reduced from 1 hour and 13 minutes to only 40 minutes.

SERW was awarded the new frame contract for 100% of the total volume.
