On 28 February 2018, E.ON Avacon contacted SERW with the demand for a new assembly method for disconnectors at their substation in Leherheide, Germany.

Chiasso Substation

Subbiano Arezzo, Italy, June 2018 – With a view to increasing the traffic volume of the Swiss-Italian Gotthard corridor, a new substation for electrical power (SSE) has been built in Chiasso (CO) on the border between Italy and Switzerland, operating since 27 May 2018. The purpose of this SSE is the AC/DC conversion for the powering of trains circulating in the Swiss railway networks.
