A new power transformer to support the modern chemical industry
Łódź, Poland, August 2021 – ZREW has delivered a transformer to one of the biggest chemical companies in Poland – Zakłady Azotowe Kędzierzyn (ZAK), part of the Grupa Azoty.
Located in the south of Poland in Kędzierzyn-Koźle, Grupa Azoty ZAK S.A. offers a wide range of products and components within the chemical industry. The key production focuses on the use of fertilisers in agriculture. Furthermore, there is more technology to produce ammonia, compressed hydrogen, aldehydes and alcohols, and other chemicals.
ZREW delivered a 16 MVA unit to strengthen the energy system in ZAK and to secure continuity of energy supply and the overall production processes.
