Challenging project for Schleswig-Holstein Netz AG

Plzeň, Czech Republic, August 2018 – Schleswig-Holstein Netz AG, one of the biggest grid operators in Northern Germany, has chosen SERW as their partner for upgrading their distribution grid. A total of 35 horizontal disconnectors and 8 earthing switches will be delivered to the substation Handewitt/Flensburg end of this year. The large order will be delivered in just one shipment, bringing along some challenges for the project.

The new order arrived on 10 July 2018 from Schleswig-Holstein Netz AG, a company which provides a wide range of support for electricity grids, gas networks, offshore-windparks and more to its customers. The short design and manufacturing phase, along with the delivery in just one shipment, brings some challenges to SERW.

Some facts about the project:
• 35 horizontal disconnectors 123kV, 3150A
• 8 earthing switches 123kV
• Project value about 250’000 Euro
• Delivery planned end of this year
