First power transformer project for ČEZ Group

Łódź, Poland, November 2018 – After a long and precise audit process, ZREW Transformatory signed a 6-year framework agreement for producing and delivering transformers to ČEZ, the biggest producer of energy in the Czech Republic. The delivery of the first two transformers is planned for mid-2019.

In the first phase of the framework agreement, ZREW will deliver two 40 MVA transformers to ČEZ Distribuce. The company’s activities include the generation, trading, and distribution of power and heat, as well as coal mining in the Czech Republic. Due to its promise of high quality, multiple reference projects in the region and a successful audit process, ZREW was able to gain trust from ČEZ and was awarded the interesting project.

Some facts and figures about the cooperation:
• 6-year framework agreement between ZREW Transformatory and ČEZ Distribuce
• First order consists of 2 distribution transformers with 40 MVA power rating
• Transformers to be installed at substations in Žatec and Krásné Březno
• Time of the first delivery is planned for mid-2019
