Holy Mass at Tesar Italy

Subbiano Arezzo, Italy, January 2019 – In regards to the 40th anniversary of Tesar, the parish priests of Arezzo and Chiassa held a holy mass in the Tesar factory in Chiaveretto. Many important people from the region such as Antonio De Bari, the mayor of Subbiano, and Alberto Merelli, the assessor for Finances, Budget and Tributes of Arezzo, were present. The whole mass was a blessed and proud moment for all Tesar employees.

On Friday morning, the 18th of January 2019, the parish priest of Arezzo, Don Alvaro Bardelli, and the parish priest of Chiassa, Don Francesco Bernardini, held a holy mass in the beautifully decorated factory in Chiaveretto, Italy. All Tesar employees as well as important people from the region celebrated the 40th anniversary of Tesar. Accompanied by a choir delegated by Maria Grazia Donati, the two priests blessed the factory and the employees of Tesar.

In his introduction speech, Matteo Angiolini, managing director of Tesar, granted a secure future: „The year 2018 was a successful year for Tesar, but we will not stop there. This event is an impulse for an even more successful 2019.“ Mike Lauper, CEO of R&S, added: „Since 2016, we are proud to have Tesar within our group. Tesar represents a pioneer in the cast resin transformer business in Italy and we look forward to an innovative future.“

Elisabetta Bragagni, vice president of the Italian employers’ confederation Toscana Sud, acknowledged the importance of the factory for the local workers: „Confindustria Toscana Sud and the Community have witnessed the great evolution that Tesar has made in recent years to keep up with the times. Today, staying in the market and staying competitive, living and not simply surviving, is very difficult. For this reason, it’s necessary to be good at finding the resources, the strength and the ability to renew itself. Tesar has tackled this challenge and has become a very important employer for workers in the region.“

Tesar, which has been producing high-quality cast resin transformers since 1979, has strenghtened its position in Italy more and more in the last 40 years and also conquered markets such as Poland, Argentina and the Middle East. With over 100.000 installations all over the world, Tesar is one of the top leaders in the transformer business.

Tesar is part of the Swiss-based R&S Group, a leading provider of power products in selected niche markets. With manufacturing facilities and offices in Europe and the Middle East, R&S is a major supplier of transformers and switches for customers in the utility, industry and infrastructure sector.
