The task of this port system is to charge vessels from the shore.<\/p>\n<p>The Shore Power Telescopic is a device from a range of solutions for shore power connection, designed for operational regularity, flexibility and scalability, as well as safe and simple use.<\/p>\n<p>Other features:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Can connect to the vessel in just minutes<\/li>\n<li>A design suitable for a public environment<\/li>\n<li>A minimal footprint and minor intervention into existing quays<\/li>\n<li>All-electric operation eliminates the risk of oil pollution<\/li>\n<li>Both structure and machine parts are constructed from weather and seawater resistant materials<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>For Rauscher &amp; Stoecklin, the provided equipment is a combination of their two products: <a href=\"https:\/\/the-rsgroup.com\/products\/industrial-electrical-connectors\/\">high current connectors<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/the-rsgroup.com\/products\/switches\/overhead-line\/\">railway overhead lines switches<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Other details of the supply:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>40 sets of plugs and sockets<\/li>\n<li>Rated current: 2500 A<\/li>\n<li>Stainless steel housing<\/li>\n<li>Self-locking lid<\/li>\n<li>Installation sites: ports in Norway<\/li>\n<li>Timing of deliveries: 2020 &#8211; 2021<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The biggest challenge for Rauscher &amp; Stoecklin was to develop a completely new product within a short period of time, that is highly reliable and safe (resistant to the saltwater-atmosphere).
