Award for article “Diagnostics of power transformers based on insulation oil tests”
Łódź, Poland, July 2020 – The Association of Polish Electrical Engineers has awarded an article by Ryszard Kozak, Quality Manager at R&S ZREW, and Dr. Tomasz Piotrowski from the Lodz University of Technology. The article “Diagnostics of power transformers based on insulation oil tests” took the 3rd place in the competition for the best article published in the APEE magazines in 2019.
In the article, the authors show methods of diagnosing the oil sample taken from the transformer to assess its technical condition. The results are based on a rich database, collected by them.
It is a great example of the long-term collaboration of R&S ZREW with the Lodz University of Technology. Besides the joint research, the collaboration also includes specialized trainings, seminars, conferences, student internships and the Science and Technology Conference “Power and Special Purpose Transformers”.
