COVID-19: Current measures at R&S as of March 23, 2020
Dear customers and business partners,
From the onset, we have taken the current developments around the coronavirus with great seriousness. All countries have restrictions in place and the disruptions to global supply chains are a reality.
As of now, March 23, we would like to inform you that we are maintaining operations. It is very important to us to maintain an operational business, and we are also striving to help our customers and partners to maintain business continuity. At the same time, protecting the health of our employees, partners and customers is our top priority.
Our employees working in administration will be available for you via teleworking from their homes. In our production plants, we have implemented measures to ensure that our sites remain safe. R&S is following the World Health Organization (WHO) guidance to contain the spread of the novel coronavirus.
Our production plant in Italy is seen by the Italian government as an essential company and was advised to continue working.
Further, we are in permanent contact with our suppliers about measures in the supply chain management as well as with public authorities, taking their recommendations into account.
R&S constantly monitors the evolution of the situation caused by COVID-19 and is prepared to implement additional measures. At this time, possible restrictions in our business are unpredictable. If we expect or experience restrictions (e.g. delay of deliveries, transportation issues, raw material bottleneck, production standstill), we will inform you immediately.
If you have any questions, please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org or talk to your local R&S contact person.
We count on your understanding and look to the future with confidence. Take care of yourself and your families – together we will get through this challenging time.
Dirk Soete, CEO R&S
