{"id":5517,"date":"2019-05-17T10:15:46","date_gmt":"2019-05-17T10:15:46","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/the-rsgroup.com\/?p=5517"},"modified":"2020-01-23T09:18:01","modified_gmt":"2020-01-23T09:18:01","slug":"qatar-new-national-museum-desert-rose","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/the-rsgroup.com\/it\/qatar-new-national-museum-desert-rose\/","title":{"rendered":"Qatar\u2019s new national museum \u201cDesert Rose\u201d"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"wpb-content-wrapper\"><p>[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]<span style=\"color: #5587c8;\">Subbiano Arezzo, Italy, May 2019 \u2013<\/span>\u00a0This year, the new national museum of Qatar, so called \u201cDesert Rose\u201d, opened its doors. <a href=\"https:\/\/the-rsgroup.com\/tesar\">Tesar<\/a> is proud to have delivered a total of 11 <a href=\"https:\/\/the-rsgroup.com\/products\/transformers\/dry-type-transformers\">transformers<\/a> to the beautifully designed building. The museum has been created by French architect Jean Nouvel, the same architect who worked on Abu Dhabi\u2019s \u201cThe Louvre\u201d museum, where Tesar also provided some transformers.<\/p>\n<p>Located in Doha, the museum is designed as a free-form space, offering visitors a fluid experience. The space is divided into different themes but does not include any doors. The futuristic, sand-coloured structure reminds the viewer of a \u201crose in the desert\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>Some specifications of the project:<br \/>\n\u2022 6 transformers with 1600 kVA<br \/>\n\u2022 5 transformers with 800 kVA<br \/>\n\u2022 More than 10 years building time<br \/>\n\u2022 Opened to the public in March 2019<\/p>\n<p class=\"quotation\">Together with the project for the Louvre in Abu Dhabi, the Desert Rose is one of the biggest museum projects Tesar has been awarded in the Middle East.
