New project for ČEPS
Plzeň, Czech Republic, October 2018 – A successful factory acceptance test made by the company ČEPS, a well-known transmission system operator in the Czech Republic, has lead to one of the biggest projects in the history of SERW with delivery and service work for a total of 464 products in the first stage.
The Czech company ČEPS ensures safe and reliable operation and development of the Czech power system and is a longtime customer of SERW. According to the 4-year frame contract, SERW started to deliver the defined disconnectors, earthing switches, and post insulators for a new transformer station in Kočín in the Czech region South Bohemia. The first stage has already been delivered at the beginning of this year, the second stage will be delivered in 2020 and the third one in 2021.
The first stage includes the delivery and service work for the following equipment:
• 144 single-phase horizontal disconnectors (420 kV, 4000 A, 63/160 kA) with motor drives
• 9 single-phase earthing switches (420 kV, 63/160 kA) with motor drives
• 14 three-pole horizontal disconnectors (123 kV, 3150 A, 50/125 kA) with motor drives
• 18 insulators (123 kV) and 279 insulators (420 kV)
We are proud to have received such a large project from our longtime customer ČEPS. It shows that good customer care is one of the most important factors in our business.
