The scope of deliveries will include various types of <a href=\"https:\/\/the-rsgroup.com\/products\/transformers\/dry-type-transformers\/\">cast resin transformers<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>KE is the only vertically-integrated power utility in Pakistan, which means the organization manages all three key areas \u2013 generation, transmission and distribution \u2013 of producing and delivering energy to consumers.<\/p>\n<p>For K-Electric it is the first order for cast resin transformers. Until now, they have used oil filled transformers, so this is a giant step for them. The challenge was to find the right manufacturer that would be able to fully technically meet their requirements according to the specification.<\/p>\n<p>It is mandatory to have special approval for selling transformers in Karachi state &#8211; Pakistan. Only Tesar has been able to fulfil all the technical, testing and reliability requirements, to satisfy the Karachi state utility in order to enter in their approved vendors list.<\/p>\n<p>Currently Tesar is finalizing the supply of the first cast resin transformers for K-Electric.<\/p>\n<p>Some specifications of the project:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>the product: 1000kVA and\/or 750kVA and\/or 630kVA and\/or 500kVA \u2013 11\/0.42kV cast resin transformers, in full compliance with K-Electric standard, for distribution<\/li>\n<li>initial supply: May 2021<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"color: #5587c8;\">About K-Electric<\/span><br \/>\nK-Electric, a privately-owned and the only vertically-integrated power utility in Pakistan, has powered Karachi for over one hundred years.
