[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]Sissach, Switzerland, May 2022 \u2013\u00a0<\/span>Dr. Matthias Weibel has joined the R&S Group\u2019s executive team as the new Chief Financial Officer, starting from May 2022. He superseded Michael Altermatt on this position.<\/p>\n

Matthias Weibel has many years of international experience in Corporate Finance (including worldwide M&A projects, Value Based Mgmt, Corp. Restructuring) and International Management, while working for ABB, as CFO for FAES Group and as CEO of the Raiffeisen Unternehmerzentrum. He graduated and holds a PhD of the University of St. Gallen.<\/p>\n

In addition to finance Matthias Weibel has great interest in ‘big data’\u200b analytics and self-controlling manufacturing systems. Concerning these typical ‘Industry 4.0’\u200b related topics his recent track record includes the group-wide implementation of innovative digital business models, new fully integrated order processing and manufacturing systems (incl. new robotic systems and SAP), the setup of a modern production site in Brno (CZ). During the last 5 years he successfully evolved and expanded the Raiffeisen Unternehmerzentrum AG throughout Switzerland and realized strategic projects with large industrial customers.<\/p>\n

Since 2011 Dr. Matthias Weibel has been a member of the Swissmem Council (Association of the Swiss Mechanical & Electrical Engineering Industries).<\/p>\n

As new Group CFO, Matthias Weibel will be responsible for the Group’s finances and will support the cooperation of the subsidiary companies to exploit valuable group synergies.<\/p>\n
