[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]Dubai, United Arab Emirates, June 2019 \u2013<\/span>\u00a0For the currently still under construction standing project \u00abYas Bay Arena\u00bb in Abu Dhabi, Tesar Gulf<\/a> will deliver 8 cast resin transformers<\/a>. The arena is designed to host sports, corporate, and cultural events and promises a low-energy consumption approach.<\/p>\n

In December 2017, the Dutch construction company Bam International<\/a> started the work on the \u00abYas Bay Arena\u00bb in Abu Dhabi. The 18.000-seater is designed by HOK and Pascall+Watson and created by Miral<\/a>, Abu Dhabi\u2019s creator of destinations. The arena will host sports, corporate, and cultural events, uniting people and places through unique immersive and exciting experiences.<\/p>\n

The beautifully designed roof truss will help cut energy consumption through a self-shading facade that will support natural light and insulate against heat. Tesar\u2019s cast resin transformers will also contribute to the low energy-consumption approach of the project. The Ecodesign transformers have small losses in the magnetic core and windings and therefore reduce energy consumption.<\/p>\n

\n\u2022\u00a0Different ratings (from 1500kVA to 2500kVA)
\n\u2022 Seats 18.000 people
\n\u2022 Retail, food and beverage opportunities at the promenade next to the arena
\n\u2022 Expected to be completed in November 2019<\/p>\n
