Seawater resistant connectors for oil platform

Sissach, Switzerland, September 2019 – Hakuryu 10 is an oil platform used in the Middle Eastern region. After ten years in use, the connectors and units need to be exchanged. With its partner Controlin, Rauscher & Stoecklin delivered seawater and corrosion resistant connectors and units to the platform manager Japan Drilling Co., Ltd.

The connectors are used to supply power to water pumps and contribute an important part to the oil rig. Due to demanding environmental conditions such as unrestricted temperature fluctuations, continuous vibrations, rain, wind, and seawater, the new connector units needed to be extremely robust.

With our high-quality connectors and units made in Switzerland, the customer does not have to worry again. The systems are optimized for marine applications.
