Second project for SEPS

Plzeň, Czech Republic, July 2019 – The Slovakian installation company Alter Energo again chose SERW as their partner for the renewal of a substation for the main Slovakian transmission system operator SEPS. The first project was for the substation Podunajské Buskupice, which we mentioned in November 2018. Now, SERW will again deliver 420 kV disconnectors for the new project, the extension of the substation Rimavská Sobota.

Due to the high customer satisfaction in the last project, the company Alter Energo again decided to choose SERW as their partner for the substation extension in Slovakia. The final adjustments and the putting into service will be made according to the customer’s timetable.

Some interesting facts about the project:
• 9 pantograph disconnectors (420 kV)
• 3 vertical disconnectors (420 kV)
• Over 130.000 Euro project volume
• Delivery in December 2019

After a delivery break from 2007 to 2017, SERW was able to successfully return to the Slovakian market. The new project will further open the opportunity to deliver products to the next planned projects of SEPS, for example, for Bystričany (planned for 2020).
