Service around the clock

Sissach, Switzerland, September 2018 – On August 24 at 1 o’clock at night, two transformer stations in Switzerland were serviced by our highly experienced technicians. The customer, Baumeler Leitungsbau AG, a Swiss network construction company in the field of energy, telecom, transport and water, and the Federal Roads Office ASTRA have commissioned Rauscher & Stoecklin for this project. To satisfy our customer’s needs, we provide comprehensive support whenever and wherever you need us.

In the early morning of Friday, 24 August 2018, Rauscher and Stoecklin supported its customer, Baumeler AG, in the maintenance of distribution transformers for a highway tunnel. At 1 o’clock at night the transformer stations “Tunnel Schönegg” and “Tunnel Engiberg” were serviced by our highly experienced technicians.

The following tasks were performed:
• Visual inspection
• Checking of the oil retention vat
• Cleaning of the transformers
• Oil extraction for a detailed oil analysis

After the detailed assessment by the Rauscher & Stoecklin product experts, it will now be decided how to proceed with the transformers which are well over 30 years old. The oil samples were examined in the laboratories in Sissach, Switzerland and Łódź, Poland and a comprehensive report was submitted to our customers.
