Gold KEMA certificate of short-circuit performance

Łódź, Poland, August 2018 – Over the past few months, one of the transformers produced by ZREW has been subjected to multiple short-circuit tests and an out-of-tank inspection. The tests were performed by the renowned testing organization KEMA and ended with the awarding of the Gold KEMA certificate of short-circuit performance. This makes ZREW one of the most trusted transformer manufacturers in the world.

KEMA Laboratories is a renowned testing, inspection and certification organization operating across the globe. The organization ensures that every kind of grid equipment is in compliance with the latest performance and safety criteria. ZREW is proud to have achieved the Gold certificate with its tested transformer:
• Three-phase power transformer 40MVA, 110kV/23kV with tertiary winding
• All the tests took place in the KEMA Laboratories in Prague and in the testing laboratory at ZREW
• The Gold KEMA certificate is an IEC 60076-5 type Test Certificate of Short-Circuit Performance

Higher demands force transformer manufacturers to prove the ability to manufacture short-circuit proof transformers. The awarded Gold KEMA certificate of short-circuit performance will make our company more competitive and strengthens our position in the market.
