Dry-type transformer with assembled earthing switch

Niepołomice, Poland, February 2020 – Tesar Polska successfully finished the construction of a dry-type transformer with an assembled earthing switch. The solution is a result of the fruitful cooperation with a Polish supplier of medium and high voltage switchgears.

Increased safety of the installation for personnel, simplification of the construction of substations and visible earthing for service teams working in the transformer room are just some of the benefits the new solution offers customers.

Some specifications for the project:

• 24 kV earthing switch
• Assembled on top frame
• Suitable for L and C shape construction
• Switching arm can be mounted on the right or left side of the transformer
