New training transformers for network electricians of Industrielle Werke Basel IWB and Primeo Netz AG
Sissach, Switzerland, November 2021 – At this year’s professional exhibition in Liestal, the official handover of two new training transformers to Industrielle Werke Basel IWB and Primeo Netz AG took place on 29 October 2021.
Transformers were manufactured by R&S Rauscher & Stoecklin in cooperation with Lichterloh GmbH.
In a joint project with Industrielle Werke Basel IWB, Primeo Netz AG, Lichterloh GmbH and R&S Rauscher & Stoecklin AG, a new training transformer was developed for the training and further education of network electricians. It was important for all companies involved to illustrate all components and the structure of a transformer as realistically as possible. The basis is a 400kVA NISV-optimized transformer for which the current flow on the LV and HV sides, as well as the neutral point, are visualized in color. The lighting concept and its implementation were made by the company Lichterloh GmbH, Sissach.
With this project and the handover of the two training transformers, R&S Rauscher & Stoecklin and Lichterloh are proud to be able to make an important contribution to the training and further education of network electricians and thus ensure the educational mission.
The handover of the transformers took place with the participation of representatives of all the companies involved in the project.
