Transformers for Traction substation SL-Konsthallen in Stockholm, Sweden

Niepołomice, Poland, August 2020 – A 1200 kVA double-storey traction transformer as well as a 200 kVA auxiliary transformer were successfully put into operation in Stockholm, Sweden.

Together with the local company SEBAB, Tesar Polska delivered and installed two dry-type transformers to the traction substation Konsthallen on tram line number seven in Stockholm. The transformers were designed according to the specifications of the customer Storstockholms Lokaltrafik AB.

Some specifications of the project:

  • 1200 kVA double-storey transformer with coupling factor < 0,2
  • Suitable for 12-pulse rectifier application
  • 200 kVA auxiliary transformer with enclosure IP20
  • Indoor installation
  • Delivery end of November 2019
