100-Year Anniversary Rauscher & Stoecklin
Sissach, Switzerland, July 2019 – On the 28th of June, Rauscher & Stoecklin celebrated its 100-year anniversary. For this occasion, partners, suppliers and customers got invited to celebrate with the company and its employees. Besides the popular beer transformer, other attractions such as a photo booth, BBQ smoker, hot wire, and shuffleboard kept the visitors happy and satisfied.
On Friday, 28th of June, partners, suppliers and customers found their way to Sissach, Switzerland, where the factory of Rauscher & Stoecklin is located. There, the visitors were welcomed with refreshing drinks from the beer transformer and tasty food from the BBQ smoker.
In between interesting and inspiring conversations, a group of visitors was invited to go on the factory tour. R&S experts explained the different steps of building a transformer, presented the switchgear hall as well as told the history of Rauscher & Stoecklin from 1919 to today.
In the late afternoon, visitors gathered together to listen to the prepared speeches. In his speech, Managing Director, Pietro Nizzola, stated the key advantages of Rauscher & Stoecklin in the Swiss energy distribution market and presented some new transformer features that will be introduced in the near future.

A very special guest, Mr Peter Buser, commune president of Sissach, also held a speech and stated the importance of the company for the community in Sissach.
