2024
Acquisition of Kyte Powertech Ltd., leading manufacturer of distribution transformer in Cavan Ireland.
2023
13 December 2023 listing at Swiss stock exchange SIX.
2020
R&S overhauls its branding and its position to bring the subsidiary companies closer together and to strengthen the Group’s range. The added strapline ‘We guarantee energy’ is synonymous with the Group’s new promise to its customers.
2017
The Group defines its new vision with the strapline ‘We are a leading provider of high-class electrical infrastructure products in key markets around the globe’.
2016
R&S increases its international reach with Tesar, a well-known transformers manufacturer operating in Italy, Poland and the Middle East. Founded in 1979 in Arezzo, the company adds innovative cast resin and instrument transformers to the R&S portfolio.
2015
R&S further enhances its transformer portfolio with the acquisition of ZREW. The Polish company, founded 1956 in Łódź, provides high-class power transformers.
2014
SERW, a Czech manufacturer of medium-voltage and high-voltage switches, is acquired. The company was founded in 1993 as a spin-off from the ŠKODA factory in Plzeň.
2012
The acquisition of Rauscher & Stoecklin sets the first milestone of today’s R&S Group. The company focuses on distribution transformers, industrial electrical connectors, railway electrification products, distribution boards and electric switch / control systems. Founded in 1919 in Sissach, the Swiss company is also R&S’ headquarters.
