Based in Niepołomice in the industrial area of Kraków, Tesar Polska has been developing and manufacturing cast resin dry-type transformers and current and voltage transformers for medium-voltage applications since 2013. As a production site of the Tesar Group, Tesar Polska complements the Italian parent plant with a modern manufacturing base in Central Europe – centrally located to ensure optimal supply of the markets in Northern and Eastern Europe as well as the German market. Tesar Polska is part of the Tesar brand, which, as one of the European pioneer companies, has specialised in cast resin technology since 1979.

Since 2016, the traditional company has been part of the internationally successful R&S Group, a leading provider of electrical infrastructure products in key markets worldwide. The customer base ranges from generators of renewable energy (wind and solar parks) to regional and supra-regional transmission and distribution system operators, through to customers in diverse industrial and infrastructure sectors – including planners and operators of data centres, railway power supply systems, chemical and manufacturing plants, large hospitals, airports, metro and tram systems as well as charging infrastructure for electromobility and much more.
