Airport “Leonardo da Vinci” Rome-Fiumicino

Subbiano Arezzo, Italy, January 2020 – In September 2019, Tesar completed the supply of 11 transformers with a power rating of 2,000 kVA to the major airport in Italy called Airport “Leonardo da Vinci”. The transformers serve for the upgrade of the “Passenger Terminal Subsystem Eastside” of Rome-Fiumicino Airport.

The high-efficiency Tesar transformers will be used for the construction of the new Boarding Area A (AIA), the new Front 1 of Terminal 1 (AVC), the Connecting Corps (CDC) and for the adaptation and restructuring of the existing Terminal 1, a total surface area of approx. 71,278 sqm (AT1).
