Transformers for Solar Farms in Poland
Niepołomice, Poland, June 2021 – Tesar Polska delivered another 5 cast resin transformers for solar farms. All transformers were made with an electrostatic screen between the windings and have increased resistance for applications with higher harmonics – THDi up to 10%.
The transformers were ordered by Elwat Team, a company dealing with the construction of solar farms as a general contractor. For Tesar Polska this is another order from Elwat Team within the last few years. Apart from transformers for photovoltaic applications, Tesar Polska has also supplied 15,75/0,42kV distribution transformers.
Details of the order – 5 cast resin dry type transformers:
- 2 x transformers 1000kVA 17,5kV 15,75/0,42kV;
- transformer 800kVA 17,5kV 15,75/0,42kV;
- transformer 500kVA 24kV 21/0,42kV;
- transformer 400kVA 17,5kV 15,75/0,42kV.
In recent years, Tesar Polska has supplied several dozen dry type transformers for the needs of solar farms. These were units powered by 420 V, 800 V and 690 V specification, but the company can also manufacture transformers with other, non-standard voltages.
Transformers manufactured by Tesar Poland for photovoltaic applications have resistance for THDi up to 30%.
