We support our customers along the entire value chain of electrical energy – from generation, transmission and distribution through to storage and mission-critical applications such as data centres, industrial plants, rail and infrastructure projects.
The energy transition is fundamentally changing the requirements placed on electrical infrastructure. For us as a transformer manufacturer, this primarily means one thing:
Delivering significantly more, more efficient and more sustainable transformers in ever shorter timeframes – into grids that are becoming more complex from a technical perspective and more demanding from a regulatory standpoint.
The key challenges are:
- Growing demand for transformers due to simultaneous grid expansion, reinforcement and modernisation.
- Integration of renewable energies (e.g. wind, solar, battery storage) with partly highly fluctuating load profiles.
- Stringent efficiency and sustainability requirements (e.g. Ecodesign directives, CO₂ reduction, noise and safety requirements).
- Tight raw material and component supply chains.
Our solutions address these issues directly:
- Expansion of our manufacturing capacities: in 2025 we commissioned a new Rauscher & Stoecklin plant for oil distribution transformers in Krzeczów near Bochnia (Poland) with around 10,000 m² of production space.
- Comprehensive portfolio of low-loss distribution and power transformers for transmission and distribution grids.
- Cast resin transformers for industry, data centres and building / infrastructure projects.
- Special designs for rail, marine, mining, oil & gas, e-mobility, battery storage and other demanding applications.
- Instrument transformers and switchgear for grid monitoring and protection.

Customer focus
For our customers’ management teams, three objectives are central: security of supply, economic efficiency and compliance with regulatory and sustainability requirements.
Security of supply and grid stability:
Robustly designed transformers and components, adapted to load cycles, harmonics and new operating profiles, increase availability and reduce outage risks.
Life-cycle economics:
Energy-efficient designs reduce losses and operating costs; long service life and low maintenance needs safeguard investments over decades.
Sustainability and regulation:
Our products meet current and foreseeable efficiency, environmental and safety requirements – from European Ecodesign regulations to customer-specific standards and specifications.
Sector expertise
Power utilities / energy distribution
Power generation, transmission, distribution and storage – from the power plant via the transmission grid through to decentralised feed-in.

Renewables
Renewable power generation from wind, solar, photovoltaics, geothermal and hydropower – including grid connection, feed-in management and storage integration.

Industry and industrial applications
Our products and solutions are used, among others, in:
- Marine and ports (electrification)
- Railway (traction power systems, rail power supply, signalling technology)
- Data centres (uninterruptible, highly available power supply)
- Mining (dusty, humid and mechanically demanding environments)
- Oil and gas (harsh conditions, high safety requirements)
- Battery systems and battery energy storage (fast integration, thermal stability)
- E-mobility and charging infrastructure (fast-charging for cars, trucks and buses, urban grids)
- District heating and cooling (power supply for modern building and HVAC systems)
- Chemicals and plastics (high protection requirements)
- Pulp and paper (high load peaks, dynamic load cycles)
- Hospitals, airports, stadiums, museums and other public facilities / critical infrastructure
With our electrotechnical products and customised solutions we help our customers to turn the challenges of the energy transition into measurable benefits – in the grid, in the plant and on the balance sheet.
