Tesar Gulf, with its production site in Al Ain (United Arab Emirates), has been developing and manufacturing cast resin transformers (dry-type transformers) for medium-voltage applications in the Gulf region and the wider Middle East since 2012. As part of the Tesar Group, Tesar Gulf combines European engineering expertise with local manufacturing – specifically designed for high ambient temperatures, desert climate, coastal proximity and corrosive environments.

The local presence strengthens customer proximity and service in the UAE as well as throughout the Middle East. The Al Ain site is set up to support infrastructure projects, utilities and industrial users in the GCC countries and neighbouring markets with standard-compliant transformer solutions and short supply routes.

Since 2016, Tesar has been part of the internationally successful R&S Group, a leading provider of electrical infrastructure products in key markets worldwide. The customer base ranges from renewable energy producers (wind and solar farms), regional and supra-regional transmission and distribution network operators through to customers in a wide variety of industrial and infrastructure sectors – including planners and operators of data centres, railway power supply systems, chemical and manufacturing plants, major hospitals, airports, metro and tramway systems as well as charging infrastructure for electromobility and many more.
